Summary: Very quiet peaceful location. Great if you're visiting volcanoes or looking for solitude. Otherwise you'll have to drive A LOT! L&L best place to eat here. Pizza place nearby was good (price shocking at first but that's because ALL food was expensive on the island). House was in need of sheets, towels, and pillows. Furniture really worn out. Caretakers very helpful and even came to check on us when a big storm took the power (lucky the stove is propane!). The price was great and you get what you pay for. However I feel it would have been better to stay closer to town (third time to Big Island) as driving time (especially if you hit the Kona Crawl) and expense (1800 miles in 11 days) may make the bargain price not a value, depending on where you'll be spending your time.
